While Fixing It’s technicians solve the vast majority of issues, there may be rare occasions where your device cannot be repaired—often due to extensive hardware damage, lack of parts for older models, or manufacturer restrictions.
What we do if your device can’t be fixed:
- We will contact you as soon as we determine the issue is not repairable, explaining the situation and the specific reasons.
- If you’ve paid any deposit for parts, and parts were not installed, we’ll refund it in accordance with our refund policy.
- We’ll return your device, assembled, along with a complete diagnostic report at no additional cost.
- In many cases, we can help you with alternatives, such as device recycling, data retrieval, or recommendations for device replacement.
Will you still pay for the service?
Our diagnostics are often free or low-cost. If actual repair work was not performed or parts were not installed, you will not be charged for full service.
Summary:
Our primary goal is to help you—but if repairing isn’t possible, we’ll do our best to support you with safe return, honest advice, and clear communication.
